200/600A High Voltage Cable Branch Box (American Style)

General Information

The American-style cable distribution boxes produced by the company, with their excellent performance, standardized design, and beautiful appearance, are widely used in cable engineering equipment in cable distribution network systems. They are used in major industrial parks, residential areas, and densely populated cities. It is widely recognized in various places such as districts, commercial centers and high-rise buildings. It is characterized by one-way door opening and horizontal multi-pass busbar. It has significant advantages such as small width, flexible combination, full insulation, and full sealing. According to the rated current, it can generally be divided into two types: 600A main circuit and 200A branch circuit. The 600A main circuit adopts screw-in bolt fixed connection; the 200A branch circuit adopts plug-in connection and can be plugged and plugged under load.

Product Features

1. Compact structure, small footprint, easy installation, easy operation and maintenance-free.
2. The box body is all made of metal steel plate or stainless steel plate with a thickness of 2mm. It adopts anti-corrosion design and special spray painting treatment to operate reliably in harsh environments (life span ≥ 30 years).
3. Outdoor all-weather, fully protective structure, suitable for high temperature, severe cold, flood immersion, and high dust areas.
4. Fully sealed and fully insulated structure, no insulation distance required, all high-voltage live parts are silicone rubber or EPDM prefabricated cable connectors, effectively ensuring personal safety.
5. Flexible combination can make the number of outlet branches reach seven, which can be combined with SF. The load switch forms a ring network for power supply, fully meeting various wiring requirements.
6. The cable joint can be used as a switch, which can be plugged and unplugged under load to break the 200A load current.
7. After installing the fault indicator, circuit faults can be quickly detected.
8. The one-time investment is small, the cable length is reduced, the building area is not occupied, and money is saved.
9. The cable connector used complies with IEEE386 standard.
10. All cable joints are suitable for cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables. The 200A cable joint is suitable for cables with a cable cross-section of 35mm²-180mm²; the 600A cable joint is suitable for cables with a cable cross-section of 25mm²-500mm².

Usage Environment

1. Phase ambient temperature: maximum temperature: +40℃, minimum temperature -30℃.
2. Wind speed: when 34m/s (not greater than 700Pa).
3. Humidity: The daily average relative humidity is not greater than 95%; the monthly average relative humidity is not greater than 95%.
4. Shockproof: horizontal acceleration is not greater than 0.4m/s2, and vertical acceleration is not greater than 0.15m/s2.
5. The inclination of the installation site: no more than 3°.
6. Installation environment: The surrounding air should not be significantly contaminated by corrosive, flammable gases, water vapor, etc., and there should be no severe vibration at the installation site.

If the cable distribution box cannot be placed due to site limitations, the cable joints can be directly combined to form multiple cable branches (no busbars are required, see the connection method below) and placed in the cable trench or other locations.

Example 1: Four incoming and outgoing lines (2x600A+2x200A).

Each group consists of two T-II cable connectors, two elbow connectors and an intermediate connector. T-II type cable joint 200A is connected to an elbow cable joint on one side (and a fully insulated oxide arrester on the other side).

Example 2: Three incoming and outgoing lines (3x600A).

Each phase consists of three T-shaped cable connectors and two intermediate connection connectors.
