Recently, our company’s independently developed 24kV and 38kV permanent magnetic auto reclosers successfully completed all project tests at the Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute (XIHARI).
◆ The 24kV/16kA permanent magnet drive recloser passed the T100 test according to IEC 62271-111.7.103, with the rated operating sequence being O-0.1s-CO-1s-CO-1s-CO-60s-CO, and passed all three tests successfully.
◆ The 38kV/16kA permanent magnet drive recloser passed the T100 test according to IEC 62271-111.7.103, with the rated operating sequence being O-0.2s-CO-3s-CO-3s-CO-lockdown, and passed all three tests successfully.
This marks a key breakthrough for our company in the field of permanent magnet drive technology innovation and application, and lays a solid foundation for future entry into the international high-end market.
Continuous Breakthroughs: Dual Voltage Levels Proven for Reliability
Following the successful completion of XIHARI testing for our 24kV permanent-magnetic actuated recloser one month ago, our 38kV counterpart has now also passed all stringent tests in a single run. The successful completion of both test programs not only validates the products’ reliability and stability at higher voltage levels, but also fully demonstrates our sustained leadership and mature manufacturing capabilities in permanent-magnetic drive technology.
Technology Leadership: Permanent-Magnetic Drive Empowering Smart Grids
At present, China’s domestic market for pole-mounted circuit breakers and reclosers is still dominated by traditional spring-operated mechanisms, while permanent-magnetic drive technology has not yet been widely adopted due to its high technical threshold. Compared with spring mechanisms, permanent-magnetic actuated reclosers offer significant advantages, including simpler structure, longer service life, maintenance-free performance, higher reliability,and faster reclosing response speed —making them better aligned with the smart grid’s requirements for rapid response, precise control, and long-term maintenance-free operation.
Customer Recognition: From Cautious Selection to Confident Partnership
The customer involved in this cooperation had been particularly cautious, as their reclosers from other suppliers previously failed KEMA international type tests. The successful completion of two rounds of testing at XIHARI, backed by solid measured performance, has earned strong customer confidence in our products. The customer has now clearly indicated that they will formally initiate preparations for KEMA international type testing based on our permanent-magnetic actuated reclosers and is highly confident about the upcoming tests.
Moving Internationally: Strengthening Access to High-End Markets
XIHARI’s preliminary evaluation tests serve as a critical stepping stone toward internationally recognized certifications. The successful completion of testing at both voltage levels provides strong support for our products to pursue high-standard international certifications such as KEMA, and further reinforces our customers’ determination to build long-term cooperation with us and jointly explore high-end markets.
