Xiamen Insulation Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2013. It initially specialized in the production and sales of medium voltage insulation parts. It has now expanded to the R&D, production and sales of indoor and outdoor medium-voltage distribution products such as load break switches, vacuum circuit breakers, switch cabinets, ring network cabinets, outdoor reclosers, outdoor load switches, and intelligent cut out fuses. Li Xuemin, chief consultant, is a former senior engineer at the R&D center of China XD Group. He has been working in the electric power industry for more than 40 years. He is one of the few talents in China who has engaged in theoretical research and practical experience of high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage. He has served as chief engineer in many large electrical companies.
Zhuang Yu, chief engineer, Li Xuemin’s proud apprentice. Systematically learned the theoretical knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage electricity, as well as the design, development and manufacturing of switches and components, operating mechanisms, molds, machinery, electrical, complete sets of equipment, etc. He has led the development of many popular products, many of which have become industry classics and imitated by peers. Quality is the life of an enterprise! We have passed IS09001 certification for many years in a row and have always implemented strict production management and inspection standards for product quality before, during and after production in accordance with ISO requirements.

We have a range of professional testing equipment, including lightning impulse surge devices, X-ray flaw detectors, power frequency withstand and partial discharge detection equipment, electrical shielding laboratories, high and low temperature cycle equipment, helium mass spectrometers, and high-pressure water testing equipment, universal tensile testing machines, loop resistance testers. From components to complete cabinets, from parts to full sets, over the years we have accumulated rich and representative experimental data on various products and models.

When customers require customization according to the standards of the country where they are located, we already have relevant plans and parameters that can be applied directly, greatly shortening the cycle time of personalized customized new products and ensuring that the products meet the testing standards of the destination country or region.

Successful Cases

1.In November 2014, the 12kV Solid Insulated Switchgear was successfully developed. It not only conforms to the new trend of environmental protection without SF6 and is fully enclosed and maintenance-free, but also quickly gained high recognition from the market as the most reasonable and compact selling point. The launched cabinet types have been successively Used by more than 10 domestic listed companies.

2.In August 2015, based on the prototype brought back by the customer from Europe, we successfully developed the Indoor SF6 Switch-Disconnector FLRN36 Load Break Switch. At that time, the customer negotiated with many factories in China to develop it. Because the APG insulator shell was so large and the process was difficult, many factories did not dare to open the mold. After evaluation, our company felt that we were more confident, so we took over the development task and opened the mold for the first time. It was a great success, and all parameters met or exceeded the customer’s standards. Now this 40.5kV LBS has become a business card of our company, and its products are exported to all over the world.

3.Medium-voltage Quik-Lock Plugs and Receptacles project, which is a component for the medium-voltage SF6 GIS swithchgear and ECO-friendly air insulation switchgear inlet cabinet that matches the charging interface of emergency power generation truck. After the State Grid began to implement the emergency quick-plug interface for emergency power generators, according to the standards of the State Grid, we began to designed and developed emergency quick-lock plugs for SF6 GIS swithchgear and ECO-friendly air insulation switchgear at the end of 2020, becoming one of the first domestic manufacturers to independently develop, produce and sell quick-lock plugs and receptacles for medium voltage switchgears. After the customer knew that we had independent and mature development capabilities, he entrusted us with the development and production of quick-lock plugs and receptacles for more styles. Nowadays, the quick-lock connectors produced by our company have covered medium and low voltages and have been serialized. They can be used for indoor switchgear cabinets and for outdoor pole mounted reclosers and outdoor load break switches.

4. In order to comply with the global new trend of removing sulfur hexafluoride and replacing SF6 with dry pure natural air, we took the lead in the industry in June 2021 to develop 12kV ECO friendly air insulated switchgears. Based on the successful experience of previous solid insulated switchgears, after several optimizations, now our air insulated switchgear is not only fully enclosed and maintenance-free, but also takes full advantage of its compactness and rationality. All parameters are satisfactory, and many major manufacturers have taken the initiative to seek cooperation.

5. Customized and developed outdoor pole-mounted intelligent reclosers. In 2021, a customer from country S came to us based on the country’s document that the outdoor power grid was to be updated and transformed. He brought the country’s technical specifications and parameters and the outline requirements for the product without specific plan or drawings. After many twists and turns, he came to us for consultation on product development matters. Based on this limited information, we quickly provided customers with preliminary product plans and options, and the plan was quickly recognized by customers. Then the actual interaction and confirmation of circuit diagrams, product design drawings, etc. began, and the customer quickly agreed to pay the mold fee to officially open the mold. After the automatic recloser prototype came out, it was first tested internally by us, and then successfully passed the foreign KEMA laboratory test in October 2022. All parameters and indicators met the customer’s standards.The customer have started placing bulk orders for us in batches.

6.At the request of European customers, we have succeeded in developing 24kV ECO-friendly pure air insulated switchgear that does not contain SF6 gas. Everything is going smoothly. The prototype successfully passed various tests in a third-party laboratory in Italy in November 2023.

7.The SF6-free, 24kV solid insulated switchgear customized and developed for the South American market passed various foreign tests in February 2024.

Location Advantage

Our company is located in Tong’an District, Xiamen City. Final Explanation
